Five stages. No guesswork.
The exact method changes with the roof. The way the project is managed stays straightforward: inspect it, define it, schedule it, complete it and check it.
Survey
We look at the roof, access, visible defects and the result you need. For urgent work, we establish what must be made safe or watertight first.
Written quotation
After the site visit, JDL sends your written quotation within 48 hours. Most are sent within 24 hours. It sets out the roofing system, materials, included work and the guarantee terms that apply.
Scheduling
Once the work is agreed, we arrange a suitable start date and confirm access, deliveries and any practical preparations for the property.
Roofing work
The team completes the agreed specification in a controlled sequence, keeps the working area organised and explains any issue that changes the scope.
Inspection
The finished work is checked against the agreed specification. We confirm the completion details and provide the written guarantee information for eligible work.
What the quotation should make clear.

If the roof reveals more work.
Some defects only become visible after a covering is lifted. If that happens, the additional issue and the proposed work should be explained before the scope changes.
Weather can also affect roofing schedules. The team will confirm practical changes where conditions make the planned work unsafe or unsuitable.
